Family fun with Martin Brown
Martin Brown comes to Hitchin!
To celebrate the opening of the Horrible Histories and Dazzling Drawings exhibition at North Herts Museum, join Horrible Histories’ illustrator, Martin Brown, for a one-off family event filled with foul facts, savage stories, lashings of live drawing and tons of drawing tips to inspire everyone to pick up a pencil.
Written by Terry Deary and illustrated by Martin Brown, Horrible Histories is the world’s bestselling children’s history series that has been filling kids (and big kids!) heads with foul and funny facts for over 30 years. It has inspired BAFTA-award-winning TV series, sell-out stage-shows, popular attractions and even a feature film.
Martin will be doing a book signing after the event!
7 June at 2pm in Hitchin Town Hall
Adults £6, children £5, or family of four £18 (under 1s go free)
Main activities are aimed at 7 – 10 year olds but can be enjoyed by all ages
